BlackBerry OS is a also special mobile operating system designed specifically for Research In Motion's (RIM) BlackBerry devices. The BlackBerry OS runs on Blackberry variant phones like the BlackBerry Bold, Curve, Pearl and Storm series.
The BlackBerry OS is designed for smartphone environments and is best known for its robust support for push Internet email. This push email functionality is carried out through the dedicated BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES), which has versions for Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Domino and Novell Groupwise.
IOS is a Special operating system made for Apple-manufactured devices. iOS is runs only on apple products such as iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch and Apple TV.
iOS is best known for serving as the underlying software that allows iPhone users to interact with their phones using gestures such as swiping, tapping and pinching. These finger actions are typically performed on multitouch capacitive touch screen displays, which provide fast response and accept inputs from multiple fingers. However apple IOS not the No. 1 mobile OS globally, But apple OS dominates the North American market by a large margin, with a 60% market share as of May 2010.
05. Meego OS (Nokia/ Intel)
An operating system from Intel and Nokia designed for smartphones, netbooks, TVs and in-vehicle entertainment systems that use ARM and Atom processors. Announced in early 2010, MeeGo merged Nokia's Linux-based Maemo operating system with the Linux-based Moblin OS and used Nokia's Qt development platform for writing applications.
In early 2011 Nokia announced it would use Microsoft's Windows Phone platform for its future smartphones. Later that year, Intel dropped MeeGo in favor of the open source Tizen mobile OS.

Palm OS 5 was extended to provide support for a broad range of screen resolutions, wireless connections and enhanced multimedia capabilities and is called Garnet OS

08. Web OS (Palm/ HP)
WebOS is a mobile operating system that runs on the Linux Kernel. WebOS was initially developed by Palm as the successor to its Palm OS mobile operating system. It is a proprietary Mobile OS which was eventually acquired by HP and now referred to as webOS (lower-case w) in HP literature. HP uses webOS in a number of devices including several smartphones and HP TouchPads. HP has pushed its webOS into the enterprise mobile market by focusing on improving security features and management with the release of webOS 3.x. HP has also announced plans for a version of webOS to run within the Microsoft Windows operating system and to be installed on all HP desktop and notebook computers in 2012.
