As fuel prices in Sri Lanka’s current economy continue to drop, motorists should take advantage of their savings at the pump and invest it back into their vehicles. "By spending a little now to increase fuel efficiency, drivers can multiply fuel savings and save more money at the pump" says the Car Care experts all over the world.

Sri Lanka’s gasoline prices have been increasing since year 2002 to 2008 unconditionally from LKR52 to LKR155. In Jan 2009 it increased by 12%. After that time period the price of the gasoline has been reduced to LKR133 per liter. Government increased the prices of gasoline (by 9%), diesel (37%), kerosene (49%), and fuel oil (80%) in Feb 2012. The prices of gasoline had increased on year 2012 up to LKR168.00 per liter.
