· A selection of different sized mixing bowls - the metal ones are cheap and perfect!
· A couple of wooden spoons
· A cheese grater
· A vegetable peeler
· A good knife
· A whisk
· A potato masher
· A chopping board – either plastic or timber- Do not use glass- they blunt your knives
